Suitable Fabrics:
This pattern was designed for light to mid-weight woven fabrics such as linen, cotton poplin, and cotton lawn. Fabrics with a slight drape can be used, but we recommend avoiding fabrics with a lot of drape, such as silk if you are a beginner. Stable wovens such as cotton poplin will make creating the tucks easier as it doesn't shift easily after being pressed.
