Soft aqua blue lightweight handloom Indian cotton. When fabrics are hand dyed they have a beautiful subtle variation in colour rather than when a commercial dyeing process is used.

Our Indian handlooms are delicate and lightweight, so perfect for Summer sewing. They can be used for scarves, tops or dresses with some fullness. You can also use them for patchwork or home projects like semi sheer curtains.

  • Indian handlooms are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave due to their handmade nature, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
  • For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
