The Joelle Dress Sewing Pattern is a gorgeous make that can be worn as a maxi dress or a mini dress. The maxi dress has a frilled hem and both versions have a little cut-out under the bust, as well as optional pockets. There is a very cute bow that is threaded through at tie at the front and is sewn on with a couple of hand stitches, so is easy to take on or off. It is designed to be worn with a bra, although not every bra works.

Wear it in bright colours in the sun, as a fun party dress or even at your wedding!

Fabrics and Notions

Recommended fabrics:

The Joelle Dress works well with medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton, linen, viscose, tencel, chambray, lighter weight denim, crepe and rayon.

You will need:

• Fabric

• Co-ordinating thread

• 40cm regular or invisible zip

• Iron-on interfacing approx 0.1m

• 1.5m bias binding approx 1.6cm wide in a colour to match your fabric.

The fabric amounts given can be used for directional prints.
